The CPN-UML has concluded that the decision of the CPN (Maoist Centre) to pull out from the present government coalition was unfortunate for the country. The 40th special meeting of the UML Standing Committee held at the Prime Minister’s residence this evening said the Maoist party’s decision would lead to political stability and have a serious negative impact on the implementation of the constitution, according to UML publicity department Chief Yogesh Bhattarai. The party has also decided to move ahead through a constitutional solution to the present political problem. The Standing Committee shall meet again tomorrow and take the necessary decision, added Bhattarai. Meanwhile, a statement issued by UML General Secretary Iswar Pokharel says the party takes serious note of the possibility of effect on the important achievement gained by the present government including consolidating national self-respect and pride, protection of national interests and new international relations based on equal sovereignty. The party has also appealed to all progressive and nationalist forces to come together in favour of the constitution, national interest and solidarity, and to discourage political anomalies in the present state of political instability. - See more at: http://www.tajavideo.co/videos/power-news-5/#sthash.kiqubU8H.dpuf
